The Commons Topsfield Wedding: Jeana & Scott
December 15, 2016
Jeana and Scott certainly did not envision this day when they first met. When Jeana needed some ideas for care packages for troops, someone pointed out that Scott may be able to help her. Their paths crossed a few more times and then Scott mustered up some courage to ask her out. The rest is history!
When I first met them, I knew right away we were a good match. I knew this when they made it clear they were looking for the right person to capture their day - not just a vendor. Since I've been building my business on making the photography experience personal, this just fit perfectly!
We had an amazing engagement session with Jeana and Scott at Rolling Ridge retreat center in North Andover and in their home, it was just perfect for getting to know them better before their wedding day. It really built up the excitement and anticipation of their wedding day.
Imagine my shock when I found out we're expecting our third baby, due one week after Jeana & Scott's wedding day! With a backup plan in place, I prayed I'd actually be able to be there and thankfully baby stayed put and I could photograph this beautiful wedding day almost 9 months pregnant!
Jeana and Scott got married at the same cathedral as her grandparents and parents, it was a really special moment not just for them but the whole family. The reception took place at The Commons 1854 in Topsfield, one of my personal favorites as far as venues go! Grand yet still cozy on a cold November day, and even warmer with the presence of family and close friends.
Enjoy these photos and let us know which moments here are your favorite!
These photos are only a little glimpse into what an amazing day it was! There was certainly an overabundance of the love and care of family and friends. Everything was just perfectly planned by Jeana and the many people that helped put together this event. I'll certainly remember this as one of my favorite weddings of 2016, and not because I photographed it 9 months pregnant!
Thank you to these wonderful vendors...
