Colonial Hall Salem Wedding: Gloria & AJ

October 11, 2017

A gorgeous, warm and breezy end of August day. Quaint historic town of Salem. Hearts and smiles of friends and family from all over the globe. Gloria and AJ's wedding at Colonial Hall was such a beautiful experience! First things first though, I just have to say this couple has some major dance moves! Some of which are captured in the photos you're about to enjoy, and the bride's choice of shoes is very telling of how this came to be...

A wedding without adventure is kind of boring, right? We did get that covered with unexpected crowds swarming Salem Willows, the chosen location for the first look and portraits. You can't really tell from the photos, but there were hundreds and hundreds of people and not an open parking spot in sight! Despite the fact, it was still a beautiful location for Gloria and AJ to meet each other for the first time on their wedding day, to enjoy the moment, to forget the hustle and bustle just for a little and savor their wedding day.

The intimate and heartfelt ceremony at St. Peter's Church was so personal and just perfect! So many ceremonies housed in these historic walls over the last few centuries. After the ceremony we strolled through historic downtown Salem and took a few photos on the way to Colonial Hall. Guests enjoyed the cocktail hour and photo booth while the bride and groom took some moments to relax. Reception opened with Gloria and AJs choreographed first dance! The rest you can relive through the photos below and please let us know what your favorites are!
